Dr. Sheela Sathyanarayana Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington said that the chemical Phthalates is a class of synthetic chemicals known as a endocrine disruptors. The Hormones are important for our normal body functions such as reproduction or metabolism and other regulating function. So due to increase of levels of Phthalates our hormonal all functional will affect.

 The Journal Environment International found in research that the phthalate levels of increases that had eaten at Restaurants, Cafeterias and Fast-food outlets in the were 35% higher than those who reported eating food and related products purchased at the grocery store or any type of store also.

Ami Zota Assistant Professor of Environmental and Occupational Health at George Washington University find after research exposed to the phthalates chemicals via foods that had been in close contact with plastic packaging. 

National Health Nutrition Examination Survey the study done data collected between year of 2005 and 2014, administered every two years by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It included 10,253 people who were asked about their dining habits over the past 24 hours and who provided urine samples to evaluate phthalate levels in the body. The survey found Two-thirds of persons found dining out at least once the previous day. Those who dined out also had significantly increase levels of phthalate chemicals metabolites in their urine during examination.
